At midnight, The 1975 released their latest single for album Notes on a Conditional Form. The album now has a release date, scheduled to release on May 22, 2020. The album is set to have 22 tracks. This much anticipated album has been pushed back from release since February, when it was originally supposed to come out. The new song is entitled Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America. It is a mouthful and it came as a bit of a shock.

Though fans were pushing for the release of If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know), they were pleasantly surprised with the song they received. This track is much softer than the rest of the singles for NOACF, differing heavily from the punk track People and the disorienting, fast-paced Frail State of Mind. But, nevertheless, this acoustic ballad will certainly be another hit for the group. Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America features fellow Dirty Hit Records artist, Phoebe Bridgers. Bridgers was scheduled to tour with The 1975 on their upcoming North American tour, which has since been postponed until further notice.

The 1975 announced on March 18 that their upcoming North American headline tour would be postponed due to Covid-19. All tickets previously purchased for the North American shows would still be honored at the new dates. The new dates are not yet announced, the band says they will keep fans updated on future shows/festivals set for the summer of 2020.
